Falls Festival Deliver Their Insanely Perfect 2017/2018 Line-Up
It's a goodie.
2017 marks 25 years for Falls Festival and to celebrate, they’ve assembled one of their biggest line-ups to date.
The bill for Australia’s longest-running New Year’s festival is in, and it’s worth the road trip: headlining this year’s party is Sydney export Flume, who’ll be making the trip home from LA to ring in 2018. He’s joined by Father John Misty’s old band Fleet Foxes, hip-hop firebrands Run The Jewels, noughties hitmakers The Kooks and Oxford’s Glass Animals.
Then there’s yesterday’s leak Liam Gallagher, rapper Vince Staples and local legends in the form of Peking Duk, Angus & Julia Stone, Dune Rats, The Smith Street Band, and… ‘Horses’ mastermind Daryl Braithwaite?!
Falls is also promising art performances, pop-up bars, comedy clubs, markets, yoga, beauty parlours — and the end of drink tokens, with all bars now cash and pay-wave enabled.
The Falls run kicks off in Lorne on December 28, with Marion Bay starting on December 29, Byron on December 30 and the festival’s newest Fremantle event, which will take place in the Fremantle Oval Precinct, on January 6.
See the full line-up and all the dates below. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Tuesday, August 29 with all details through the Falls Festival website.
