The First Falls Festival 2017/2018 Act Just Leaked Their Spot On The Line-Up

Firebrand Brit Liam Gallagher has outed himself as one of the artists locked in for Fall Festival 2017/2018.

The former Oasis frontman was speaking with GQ Australia to promote his debut solo album, As You Were, when he let slip that he’d be heading along to the NYE festival.

“Every time I’ve been [to Australia], it’s been cool,” he told GQ. “And we’re coming out there, doing the Falls Festival. So, we’re gonna be there for New Year’s Eve. So I can’t wait, man –
  love it. It’s beautiful.”

“I’m bringing me two boys out as well, they’re at the age now where they can come and travel. They’re mad for this stoner cartoon, The Big Lez Show. It’s like
a fucking Australian Cheech and Chong. They love a bit of that Australian vibe.”

His spot on the bill has been confirmed by Falls Festival on Facebook.

While admitting he didn’t know a lot of contemporary Australia music, Gallagher did give local lads DMA’s a nice shoutout: “I went to see them a couple of weeks ago, 
and I like what I see. Man, they got some good tunes in there.” Which, considering how many things Liam Gallagher doesn’t like, is a pretty good shout.
