"Piers Morgan's only athletic accomplishment is running off the set of his former TV show when another host simply questioned his criticism of Meghan Markle."

It’s a random Thursday, so it’s only natural that Piers Morgan is attacking yet another successful Black woman — and this time it’s Simone Biles.

Just like when he found issue with Naomi Osaka deciding to pull out of the French Open to put her mental health first, the giant adult toddler is now very upset that Simone Biles has chosen to do the same at the Olympics.

Yesterday, Biles announced that she was stepping away from the Olympics all-around gymnastics final to focus on her mental health. The four-time Olympic Gold medal winner decided not to compete after pulling out of the women’s team event earlier this week citing mental health issues.

“After further medical evaluation, Simone Biles has withdrawn from the final individual all-around competition,” USA Gymnastics said in a statement. “We wholeheartedly support Simone’s decision and applaud her bravery in prioritising her wellbeing. Her courage shows, yet again, why she is a role model for so many.”

While Biles still has four other finals to compete in at the Tokyo Games — vault, uneven bars, floor exercise, and balance beam — there has been no update on whether the gymnast will compete in these remaining events.

As expected, Piers Morgan felt the need to add his two cents in when it was revealed that Biles had withdrawn from her first two finals events.

“Are ‘mental health issues’ now the go-to excuse for any poor performance in elite sport?” Morgan asked on Twitter, never having actually competed in any elite sports himself. “What a joke. Just admit you did badly, made mistakes, and will strive to do better next time. Kids need strong role models not this nonsense.”

“Athletes are now deemed more courageous, inspiring, and heroic if they lose or quit than if they win or tough it out, which is ridiculous,” the man, who quite literally quit his job live on-air when things got tough, continued.

“I blame Twitter’s virtue-signallers for fuelling this culture of celebrating weakness. The real world doesn’t think like that.”

After sounding off on Twitter, Morgan decided that bashing a successful Black woman in 240 characters just wasn’t enough and chose to dedicate one of his horrific Daily Mail columns to the topic instead.

“I’m writing a column about Simone Biles. Brace yourself, weak woke Twitter — you’re not going to like it,” he warned.

Before the article even starts, Morgan used the headline to tell Biles that she is not “heroic or brave” for quitting and notes that the gymnast actually “let down your team-mates, your fans, and your country” by putting her mental health first.

In the article itself, Morgan says he finds “no problem” with Biles being a “cocky little devil” and added that when he interviewed her two years ago she “radiated so much self-confidence I thought she might self-combust on set”.

However, Piers Morgan now feels like he is owed something by Biles because of the self-confidence she displayed during their interview many years ago. “She did something which absolutely staggered me. She quit,” wrote Morgan. “The world’s greatest ever gymnast, a woman who proudly told me how she fought back after making big mistakes to win gold, just gave up at the first hurdle of these Olympics.”

“I preferred the old Simone that would do whatever it took to win,” Morgan continued, calling Biles “selfish” for not helping her “younger teammates who’ve never tasted Olympic glory” secure a win.

In true Piers Morgan fashion, the journalist brought his article back to not only himself, but to his archnemesis Meghan Markle, too.”Now we have Simone Biles being saluted as ‘iconic’ for quitting, and even citing Naomi Osaka as her inspirational spirit animal for doing so,” Morgan wrote. “Well sorry if it offends all the howling Twitter snowflake virtue-signallers, but I don’t think it’s remotely courageous, heroic, or inspiring to quit.”

“And yes, I say that as someone who walked off the set of Good Morning Britain earlier this year during an argument with a co-worker about Meghan Markle, the person who more than any other has fuelled this cynical new phenomenon of shutting down legitimate criticism by disingenuously playing the mental health and race cards.”

“When you call yourself the GOAT in sport, you can’t then quit the moment things get tough or you make a mistake,” he ended the article. “Get back out there Simone, and don’t get sucked into all the weak woke failure-loving Twitter nonsense — you’re too great a champion to be labelled a quitter.”

While Morgan finally addressed the fact that he quit his job while he constantly criticises any women who dares to do the same, people still couldn’t understand why Piers Morgan felt the need to, once again, give his opinion when no one asked for it.

If we can rely on one thing in the world, it’s that Piers Morgan will continue to always be an absolutely horrific person.
