If you didn’t already love the neon-coloured superhero spectacular that was Thor: Ragnarok, this amazing, awful, incredible skit from its main players will surely turn you into a convert.

There are few things more enjoyable than watching huge Hollywood stars romp around on stage acting like idiots. And that’s exactly what happened on The Late Late Show earlier this week, when Thor star Chris Hemsworth was joined by Cate Blanchett, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Tessa Thompson and Jeff Goldblum, along with host James Corden, to perform Thor: Ragnarok 4D in front of a cinema full of extremely lucky fans.

Aside from the plastic swords and terrible wigs, highlights include Jeff Goldblum whizzing onto the stage on a Razor scooter, and Cate Blanchett hissing down the phone to her agent to get her out of this mess — all while wearing a costume made of pipe-cleaners.

“I think those poor people just want to watch the movie” she says, deadpan and perfect.

For what it’s worth, the sketch does contain some spoilers, so venture forth at your own risk. You can also skip to about the two minutes mark to get past James Corden talking.

Thor: Ragnarok is in cinemas now.
