The Trailer For HBO’s New Murder Show ‘Sharp Objects’ Is Extremely Unsettling And Great
It's based on a book by the author of Gone Girl.
Say hello to your new murder-y obsession. HBO has just unveiled the first trailer for Sharp Objects, a limited series based on the novel by Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn and directed by Big Little Lies helmer Jean-Marc Vallée.
The series stars Amy Adams as a troubled journalist who returns to her small home town after a stay in a psychiatric hospital to report on the killing of two pre-teen girls. The minute-long trailer lays the sinister vibes on thick, with lots of whispering children and razor blades and creepy old houses.
So yeah, pretty keen for this.
Sharp Objects hits HBO in the US in July.
