Let’s Watch The Trailer For ‘My Blind Brother’ And Miss The Hell Out Of ‘Parks And Rec’

It's (kind of) a mini-reunion!

It’s been 18 months since Parks and Rec cruelly left our screens in a flurry of feelings and high-fructose corn syrup-grade sweetness, and a single day is yet to pass without me thinking about it. Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is basically one giant Leslie Knope pantomime. Steve from Stranger Things is Jean-Ralphio’s dad. Last week, I was driving in the country and scared the shit out of a farmer by sticking my head out the window and yelling “Lil Sebastian” at a pony.

With that in mind, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I’m choosing to interpret this new film, My Blind Brother, as a mini-Parks and Rec reunion. Sure, it’s not set in Pawnee and it features all-new characters — a big-shot athlete who’s blind, his less impressive brother, and a woman who’s romantically involved with both of them. But the lead roles are played by Adam Scott (Ben Wyatt), Nick Kroll (The Douche), and Jenny Slate (Mona-Lisa Saperstein).

Just… let me have this, okay.

My Blind Brother will be in US cinemas next month. It doesn’t have an Australian release date yet.
