Hamm and Slate have reportedly been friends for awhile. There are plenty of pics of them hanging out together from the past few years, and they most recently worked together on the upcoming Zachary Quinto film Aardvark. It definitely doesn’t seem weird that they would catch a movie together as mates.

BUT CONSIDER THIS: Jon Hamm is also single at the moment, after separating from long-term girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt and, in the film on which he and Slate co-star, they play lovers. Slate and Evans also met when filming a movie: Gifted. Also, no single person would ever be around Slate and not try to smooch her at least once. Case closed.
