The ‘Camp Gyno’ People Continue To Be The Best At Making Ads About Periods

Picture this: a girl fakes her period to impress her friends and lies about it to her mum. To teach her kid a lesson, mum throws a “First Moon” party and invites everyone to play games like “Pin the Pad on the Period” and bobbing for ovaries, before having dad burst out of a giant cake in a red jumpsuit.

Hopefully this does not sound like your own childhood.

It’s only about two minutes in that the video reveals itself as an ad for period starter kits from HelloFlo, an American company that deals in “one-of-a-kind care packages” to help women and girls adjust to getting their period without being weird or judgemental about it.

It’s a follow-up to the first HelloFlo ad which went viral in July last year, in which a girl on school camp declares herself the “Camp Gyno” and goes on an insane power trip. It is also pretty great.
