After already locking in appearances at festivals Fairgrounds and Meredith, Baltimore trio Future Islands have now announced a string of headline shows to round out their trip Down Under.

The band will play three headlining show around Australia in December, starting at the Metro Theatre in Sydney on December 5 and winding up at the Croxton in Melbourne a week later.

They’ll also put in an appearance at inaugural Fidelity festival in Perth, alongside acts like alt-j, The Shins, Warpaint and Cashmere Cat.

If you feel like it was only yesterday that Future Islands were last here, you’re not wrong — they delivered a fiery performance at Splendour in the Grass a bit over a month ago. But the band didn’t play any sideshows on that trip out, making December the first time we can catch their latest album The Far Field up close and personal.

Check out all the details below, tickets are on sale Friday, September 8.
