In just two years, Berry-based festival Fairgrounds has established itself as one of the best boutique events in the game — thanks in part to finely-curated line-ups that have brought the likes of Angel Olsen, Father John Misty and Japandroids to the stage.

2017 is set to be even more impressive, with the festival today revealing they’ve locked in indie legends The Shins, Sydney’s You Am I, Future Islands, D.D Dumbo, Jen Cloher and kitsch kings Client Liaison for their December event.

There’ll also be sets from New Zealand acts Aldous Harding and Marlon Williams, as well as Chicago rapper Noname. Check out the full line-up below.

Music aside, punters will also be able to busy themselves with sack racing, tug-o-war, vinyl shopping, or simply having a dunk in the Fairgrounds swimming pool. There’s also plenty of kid-friendly activities — like magic shows and craft areas — to keep little ones entertained.

It’s all happening right in the centre of Berry over December 8 and 9. Tickets will go on sale at 9am, August 22.
