You gotta hand it to Christiaan Van Vuuren and Nick Boshier: as the Bondi Hipsters, they’ve somehow managed to invent a pair of characters that can sell anything from Old Spice to Google to the Iconic, and yet still retain legitimacy as creatives — because there’s the distinct possibility they are selling out ironically.

Here, for instance, is their brand new campaign for Vittoria. The Bondi Hipsters are baristas now, working at their exclusive new cafe, ‘Closed’ — where “every single bean is grown individually and then positively reaffirmed from a young age.”

“All I need to do is smell a coffee, and I can tell you where the idea of that coffee bean was first conceived.”

“Our babyccinos are made with actual baby tears. Sorry ’bout it.”
