Get your finger guns and hot potatoes ready, because the original line-up of The Wiggles are reuniting for a one-off show to raise funds for the bushfire relief effort.

The original crew — Greg, Anthony, Murray, and Jeff — will jump on stage at the Castle Hill RSL in NSW on January 18 to drum up support for the Australian Red Cross and wildlife organisation WIRES. It’s an over 18s show (of course), and tickets will only set you back $35, with all proceeds going towards the charities.

The crew haven’t performed together since 2012, when Murray, Jeff, and Greg were replaced by Lachlan Gillespie, Simon Pryce, and Emma Watkins; Anthony still performs as part of the band.

It’s the latest in a string of fundraising event announcements, with artists such as Courtney Barnett, Hermitude, Camp Cope, Hockey Dad, Joyride, Dan Sultan, Polish Club and more set to appear at gigs around the country in the coming weeks. It’s not just musicians either — comedian Dave Hughes leads a stacked line-up at Catfish Comedy tomorrow, while Wil Anderson and Becky Lucas will head up an event at Giant Dwarf in Sydney next Week.
