The Wiggles Just Dropped An Epic Cover Of The Chats’ ‘Pub Feed’
The band are gearing up to release a huge covers album, featuring tracks by AC/DC, Rihanna, and a heap more.
Alert the group chat because everyone’s OG favourite band — The Wiggles — are dropping a cover album. I repeat: The Wiggles are dropping a cover album.
After giving us the one of the most iconic Like A Versions ever with Tame Impala’s ‘Elephant’, The Wiggles are giving us a whole album filled with covers from your favourite bands.
ReWiggled is a double album featuring the current band members and the OG’s — including Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt and Greg Page — as well as some of your favourite Australian artists.
One side of the album will feature the Wiggles reimagining your favourite Australian bands like Spacey Jane, The Chats and Luca Brasi. Even DZ Deathrays and Polish Club, who are touring with the OG Wiggles in 2022, are joining. The B-side of the album then features classics from artists like AC/DC, Queen and Fatboy Slim, reimagined by The Wiggles. Scope the full tracklist over here.
Additionally, those artists involved in the project have also returned the favour and covered some of The Wiggles’ most popular tracks like Can You (Point Your Fingers And Do The Twist) and D.O.R.O.T.H.Y (My Favourite Dinosaur)
You’ll be able to point your fingers and do the twist to the ReWiggled album on March 11 next year, but in the mean time, a five-track preview EP has dropped today — including a sick cover of The Chats’ ‘Pub Feed’. So, uhh, did somebody say Christmas playlist?
