Taylor Swift’s second single from her seventh album is finally here, titled ‘You Need To Calm Down’.

Swift teased the song via an Instagram Live (which itself was teased beforehand), in which she also announced the album’s name, Lover, and August 23 release date. The album cover, shot by Valheria Rocha, is as colourful as the technicolored video for the album’s first single, ‘ME!’.

Fans had long-speculated the album’s title was Lover, after Swift said it was included as an easter egg somewhere in the candy-coated music video for ‘ME!’, which features Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco and co-written by New Zealand’s Joel Little. Not surprisingly, fans decoded the hell out of the video.

Shortly after Swift’s announcement, Instagram went down. It’s unclear whether the two are related, but Swifties are claiming credit.

We don’t yet have a music video for ‘You Need To Calm Down’; that’ll be premiered on Good Morning America on June 17, which means it’ll arrive sometime Sunday afternoon for Australian audiences.
