After weeks of rabid speculation and some truly bizarre fan theories, Taylor Swift has finally released her brand new single, ‘ME!’.

The single is the first glimpse of her upcoming seventh album, which follows 2016’s incendiary and divisive Reputation. Swift only finished touring the album at the end of last year, prompting some fans to speculate that her seventh album was actually recorded before Reputation.

‘ME!’ features none other than Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie, and comes accompanied by a seriously extra music video.

“‘ME!’ is a song about embracing your individuality,” Swift explained, after announcing the track during the NFL draft in Nashville a few hours ago. “And really celebrating it, and owning it. With a pop song, we have the ability to get a melody stuck in people’s heads, and I want it to be one that makes people feel better about themselves.”
