Over the weekend, Spider-Man: No Way Home broke pandemic box office records after Spidey stans rushed cinemas to catch the latest instalment of the Marvel series.

Grossing a staggering $600.8 million USD in its worldwide debutNo Way Home was actually only behind Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War for the biggest worldwide openings of all time — and it makes sense.

Considering Far From Home left off right as Peter Parker’s  identity was revealed to the world, MCU fans were desperate to see what was next in store for Tom Holland’s Spidey and what life would be like for all those close to him.

— Warning: major spoilers ahead, but you know that —

In No Way Home, Peter Parker desperately tried to make his Spider-Man identity secret again with the help of a Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) time and space-bending spell. Naturally, this all went wrong when Peter messed with the spell and ripped the multiverse.

This meant that a bunch of once-defeated villains from previous Spider-Man timelines were able to enter the current one.  So, in a real blast from the past, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker was forced to face off with Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), Lizard (Rhys Ifans) and Willem Dafoe’s iconic Green Goblin.

But in the most poorly hidden plot twist off all time, Holland’s Spider-Man was also faced with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spideys, too. Basically recreating the Spider-Man pointing meme, MCU fans absolutely lost their minds when the trio linked up despite knowing that it was coming.

But even though No Way Home had some of the most poorly hidden secrets in the history of the MCU, everyone agrees that the latest Spider-Man flick was the exact nice warm hug we all needed right now.

So here are all the best memes about Spider-Man: No Way Home, the continued beef over who is the “best” Spider-Man and the return of some familiar faces:

But if Spider-Man: No Way Home left us with one key takeaway it’s that no one Spider-Man is better than the other. They’re all perfect and we need Marvel to give us another Spider-Man instalment. Right. NOW.
