Rebel Wilson Has Defended The “Creepy” Cats Trailer
I mean, somebody had to.
Remember the Cats trailer? Of course you do. How could you forget? There are some things, when you see them, that you can’t unsee. Some horrors that lodge themselves deep in the darkest corners of your mind. Haunting your days. Feeding your nightmares.

For the record, I’m not the only one who feels this way. In fact, the entire internet seems to agree that the movie looks like a disaster. But at least one of the cats is apparently fine with that.
“Some people found it a bit creepy,” Rebel Wilson conceded to Cosmopolitan this week. “I loved the reaction. I think it was a bit polarising and people will be super curious to see the finished product.”
Um, “a bit creepy” and “a bit polarising” is “a bit” of an understatement, but okay.
“It’s going to be such a big movie,” Wilson continued. “And the cast is obviously incredible.”
Asked whether she liked how she looked as a cat, Wilson replied “yeah”.
“To me, it looked like how I thought it would look,” she said. “What’s so brilliant about the movie is the dancing. It’s got some of the world’s best dancers, from ballet dancers to hip-hop dancers… oh, and tap dancers! It’s incredible. I can’t wait for people to see those big numbers on the big screen.”
