Amber Just Absolutely Tore Jessica To Shreds In This First Peek At The ‘Love Is Blind’ Reunion
"And you were engaged to another man, who you were leading on!"
Love Is Blind hive assemble! We’re only one day out from the reunion special and Netflix has blessed us with a juicy clip of Jessica being called out.
In case you’ve forgotten, here’s a quick run-down of the Jessica-Barnett-Amber love triangle. In the pods, Barnett was being a fuckboy and led three women on: Jessica, Amber and LC. When Jessica’s love interest, Mark, professed his love for her, she basically said “mmm, nah sorry” and tried to get closer to Barnett.
Unfortunately for Jessica, Barnett did the same thing when she declared her love to him. This meant Jessica had to scurry on back to her second-option Mark — where she got engaged to him, led him on, and eventually ditched him at the altar during their wedding ceremony.
As this was happening, Barnett chose Amber over LC, and the strangely-horny pair made it all the way down the aisle and actually got hitched. However, throughout the show, Jessica practically threw herself all over Barnett in the hopes that he would profess his love for her and ditch Amber.
Spoiler alert: That didn’t happen. Barnett told Jessica he wasn’t interested and remained loyal to his fiancé and now-wife. But when Barnett told Jessica that everyone was uncomfortable with Jessica’s obvious feelings, she flipped the script. After vehemently denying that she had feelings for Barnett, she said in her private interview: “What? I’m mortified! How could he think I like him? Now she thinks I like him!”
Well, that’s all come out in the wash now. With the show being filmed back in October and November of 2018, the cast has had time to reflect on the events that went down on the show.
Most importantly, this means that Amber was finally able to see all the shady shit that Jessica did with Barnett. In an explosive teaser of tomorrow’s reunion, Amber finally confronts Jessica about her actions shown throughout Love Is Blind.
After what we can assume is a moment after she’s been shown a clip of Jessica trying it on with Barnett, Amber goes in on Jessica.
“To see [Jessica] throwing herself at [Barnett] in Mexico… bitch you’re shiesty, you’re so fake,” Amber passionately started. “Coming to my face like we were cool, you were so fake.”
“I feel like you’re a very disingenuine (sic) person and I hope seeing this you do grow from it because that is not what the world needs,” Amber continued. “Women who go behinds peoples backs like that.”
Going for the jugular, Amber finished her attack on Jessica by bringing up the fact that she was in her own relationship.”And you were engaged! To another man that you were leading on!,” she said. “[Barnett] was engaged, he made his choice. Any who, so I’m not super happy seeing that.”
Honestly, if this one-minute clip is anything to go by, then oh, boy we are in for what’s set to be an absolutely riveting reunion special.
