Harry Styles has spent the last year moving from strength to strength.

The ex-One Directioner has thoroughly cordoned off his boyband beginnings, all without ever needing to insult or denigrate the fans who loved him since way back when. He’s not been rude about One Direction Harry Styles; he’s just clearly not that person anymore.

As a result of that newfound freedom, he’s been able to do whatever the hell he likes. Appear on Saturday Night Live to make a series of increasingly risque jokes? Check. Release an album that sounds like the precise midway point between Fleetwood Mac and Beck? Check. Drop a music video that pushes the horny pop formula to new and unbelievably sweaty heights? Check.

Now, determined to cap off his 2019 in the most joyous way possible, the singer has covered ‘Juice’ by Lizzo for the BBC Live Lounge.

And wouldn’t you know it: it’s an absolute banger.

Styles doesn’t mess with the formula too much. He keeps things enjoyably by the book, following Lizzo’s excellent formula while indulging his famously flirty side.

Basically, it’s exactly the kind of treat you deserve at the end of a long and sometimes exhausting year.
