Early this morning, everyone’s unproblematic fave Harry Styles unveiled the music video for his new single from Fine Line, ‘Golden’.

The video sees Styles frolic along Italy’s Amalfi Coast wearing a variety of luxurious outfits — flowing Mr Darcy shirts, questionable bucket sailor hats, crochet driving gloves, powder blue suits. It’s three-and-a-half minutes of pure, ecstatic joy, and if you haven’t watched it already, please remedy that immediately:

Feel better now? In the cold, hard expanse that is 2020, ‘Golden’ feels like a salve.

“It’s one of the first songs when I was making the album and it’s always been a source of joy for me. And I wanted to make a video that encapsulated that,” Styles told the Associated Press recently. “I’d like to think it will maybe cheer a couple of people up. Cheered me up.”

It continues Styles’ run of slick and visually luscious music videos, following ‘Watermelon Sugar‘ in May this year — which featured Styles suggestively running his finger up the spine of a watermelon, an image that has not left most people’s heads in the last six months.

Of course, the reactions to ‘Golden’ from Styles’ fans has been nothing short of chaotic — from the wholesome…

…to the outright horny.
