Someone Inserted Danny DeVito Into The ‘Detective Pikachu’ Trailer And It Is Perfect
It's Always Sunny In Pallet Town.
Earlier this week, we got our first look at the trailer for the live-action Detective Pikachu movie. And it was pretty fucking weird. But not half as weird as this recut version in which Pikachu is voiced not but Ryan Reynolds, but by Danny DeVito.
DeVito was reportedly in the running to play the iconic Pokemon before the role was given to Van Wilder instead. Thankfully, YouTube user Wesley Insley has given us a glimpse into the alternative future, using dialogue from DeVito’s role in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Pikachu screaming about rum ham? Honestly, I would watch that film.
