They’ve been hinting about it for months, but now it seems to be official: Will & Grace is coming back to television.

According to an interview with actor Leslie Jordan, who won an Emmy for his work on the show as Karen Walker’s arch rival Beverly Leslie, new episodes are 100 per cent happening, with filming set to take place in the middle of the year.

“It’s back,” Jordon told San Diego radio station KPBS. “[NBC] has ordered 10 [episodes]. It’ll be for next season, so they’ll go in in July.”

The demand for new episodes was fueled by a recent web video in which stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes reprised their characters to urge viewers not to vote for Donald Trump.

Neither NBC nor series creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick have commented on this new development, although Mullally recently said there was “a very good chance” the series would return.
