Angelina Jolie is creepy as shit in the trailer to Disney’s Maleficent

Also starring cool young people Elle Fanning and Juno Temple, the film charts the “untold story” of the iconic villain from Disney’s own Sleeping Beauty (1959).

Aargh! Geez Disney, whatever happened to singing bluebirds?

Wes Anderson’s new 7-minute short film will make you wanna buy a yellow Prada jumpsuit

Here’s something to tide you over until the release of Grand Budapest Hotel next March: Wes Anderson, with the help of Prada’s deep pockets, has made a new short film. Titled Castello Cavalcanti, the film premiered overnight on the fashion house’s YouTube channel, and stars Jason Schwartzman as an American race car driver in 1955 Italy.

The colours! The quick pans! The moustaches! Ah, so Wes Anderson.

Art! It’s expensive

Bacon

Francis Bacon’s 1969 triptych ‘Three Studies Of Lucian Freud’ just became the most expensive artwork ever sold (at auction), going for $142.4 million at Christie’s in New York overnight. It overtakes the almost $120 million someone paid for Edvard Munch’s ‘The Scream’ last year. Good purchase, Ron Swanson.

Larry David’s soul captured in the most Larry David photo of all time

He wears Larry David on the outside because Larry David is how he feels on the inside. Perhaps it was due to the fact that his team (the Knicks) were getting drilled by 31 points, but Larry David didn’t really care for the giggly antics of his fellow courtside cohorts last night. In any case, the world just got its favourite new desktop wallpaper.
