JMU now joins 55 other colleges in America who are being investigated for mishandling allegations of sexual abuse and rape cases, with sexual predators receiving extremely inadequate punishments, including 30 days off school — or in some cases, a book report. “Are colleges trying to incentivise sexual assault?” Stewart asks. “Clearly universities are not making their campuses safe for women.”
