Fact: fish-out-of-water buddy-cop dramas are the best kind of TV there is. That is just science and if you disagree you are part of the problem. In an illustrious new addition to the genre Kate Mara and Ellen Page, both of whom barely top five feet, star in a new Funny or Die short called Tiny Detectives in which they are, as the name suggests, detectives who are comically tiny. While it’s no renegade cop with a dark past who doesn’t play by the rules and his wacky sidekick — a King Charles spaniel — fighting crime in Miami on a speedboat in the ’80s (working title “K985”, copyright McKinnonCorp 2014, patent pending), it ain’t half bad.

The huge gun-and-badge combo is incredible. Go here to see more Funny or Die shorts, they are very amusing and good.
