Watch A Minute-Long Trailer For Lana Del Rey’s Short Film, Tropico
About half of it involves pole dancing.
The singer’s much-discussed short film, Tropico — “a tale of redemption told to the music of ‘Body Electric’, ‘Gods And Monsters’ and ‘Bel Air’” — will surely be the Citizen Kane of pop star vanity projects, considering how long its taken to produce. It’s okay, I did a video production course at uni; I know a short film can often take 14 weeks to complete when you’re being lazy and/or having too much fun shooting nightmarish pole dancing scenes.
The full thing’s due out on December 5, but here’s a peek. Only 28 minutes-and-51 seconds to go, everybody!
