When Donald Trump assumes office on inauguration day, America won’t just be losing one of its most inspiring presidents. It’ll also be losing one of its most lovable vice presidents. For the past eight years, Joe Biden and Barack Obama have carried on the ultimate bromance. They’re literal BFFs. They even have the matching friendship bracelets to prove it.

In the wake of this week’s shock election result, people are expressing themselves in a variety of different ways. Some are taking to the street in protest. Others are trying to decide who or what to blame. And still others are flooding the internet with Obama Biden friendship memes, in loving tribute to the Batman and Robin of Pennsylvania Avenue.
