Assistant Content Manager

Applications close 30 June 2015

We’re seeking an Assistant Content Manager to join our growing team in Surry Hills. You’ll be working on our newest title, AWOL, a joint venture we’ve created in partnership with Qantas with the aim of inspiring young Australians to travel the world.

Working under the AWOL Account Lead you’ll be responsible for bringing the award winning content strategy to life across a variety of digital platforms, co-ordinating projects, managing producers and maintaining AWOL’s digital channels.

You will ideally have a minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in digital media or content marketing and be looking for greater responsibility within a fun and dynamic environment. We’re looking for a digital native with an understanding of content across multiple platforms; a confident self-starter with exceptional organisational skills and time management and a basic understanding of how to use WordPress and Google Docs. If you’ve got some experience managing a YouTube account or with Facebook videos, that’s a bonus.

Lastly, as you’ll be working on AWOL you’ll of course need to have a love for travel and an understanding of what motivates people to see the world.

Your main responsibilities at Sound Alliance will be:

●       Supporting the AWOL Account Lead with specific digital and social projects

●       Leading the day to day management of AWOL’s video strategy

●       Creating content schedules

●       Liasing with social media influencers and management of partnership content

●       Identifying promotional and partnership opportunities with like minded people, brands and events and effectively manage those relationships

●       Briefing our designer on digital marketing assets for AWOL video strategy
