Overnight, ’80s heartthrob-turned-Middle-Aged Man Who Hangs Off Planes Tom Cruise checked in with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show to promote Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. After briefly discussing the film and the fact he does his own Hanging Off Plane stunts, he then took part in the now-obligatory Lip Sync Battle.

Though Cruise briefly teased that he might do his iconic ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’ from Risky Business (which would have obviously been incredible), he instead settled for a slightly creepy version of The Weekend’s ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ and an excitable dad mosh to Meatloaf’s ‘Paradise By The Dashboard Light’. But, the most talked about part of the performance by far was Fallon’s last song in which the pair teamed up to serenade an audience member with the Righteous Brothers’ ‘You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling’ — a scene straight out of Top Gun.

Sadly, even that — a cheeky boost to the rumours that a Top Gun sequel might be on its way — couldn’t erase these images from my mind. It’s my extreme displeasure to present the many disturbing sex faces of Tom Cruise:
