Billed as “the greatest movie ever assembled”, The Lego Movie follows an average little LEGO guy — Emmett — who is mistaken for a “MasterBuilder” (heh), and put in a taskforce with Batman, Wonderwoman, Superman, a handful of 2002 NBA all-stars, a Ninja Turtle, and 1980-something space guy, to save the universe from an baddie who wants to glue it all together.
The film has been put together by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the duo behind the totally brilliant Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, and the voice cast includes all of your best friends: Chris Pratt (Andy from Parks & Recreation) as Emmett, Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks and Alison Brie, with Will Arnett cast perfectly as LEGO Batman.
Watching a LEGO figurine try to sexily shake out her helmet head of hair in slow motion is the funnest. It comes out in February 2014.
