Karl Stefanovic Calls Tony Abbott Out For Being A Hungover Mess On Morning TV
"You didn't get on the sakés with the Japanese PM?"
Karl Stefanovic called out Tony Abbott on live television this morning for being visibly hungover after last night’s Parliament House dinner with Japanese PM Shinzo Abe.
“You look a little bit worse for wear if you don’t mind me saying so, PM. You didn’t get on the sakés with the Japanese PM?” Stefanovic asked Abbott on the Today Show, which is very much a safe space for drunken/hungover antics.
Abbott referred to the evening as “very convivial”, which we can of course take as code for “I ran around with my shirt off challenging people to arm-wrestling competitions, then fell asleep trying to find Dominos voucher codes online.”
