Like most of the internet, YouTube user Ricardo J Dylan found this week’s HIMYM finale twist exceptionally wanting. Dissatisfying. Traitorous. Despicable. Heartwrenching. Fucking how dare they.
I’ll let him use his own words here:
“they spent 9 years building up to this amazing story and all of the sudden in the end they go back on their word and decide to screw the whole thing up, i seriously dont know what happened and i would love for them to come out and explain wtf were thinking or if they were “eating” a sandwich when they wrote this final episode.”
That’s why Ricardo made his own personal cut of the offending final minutes, which skips out all that Robin stuff, and ends where it should: Ted, The Mother, the yellow umbrella. “I believe that this is more like the ending that we deserve.”
