On March 30, the repertory performances of Waiting For Godot and Last Man Standing — Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan — finished up on Broadway.

Throughout the season, we’ve seen snippets of their off-stage adventures, but the two BFFs were saving the best photos for the final two weeks.

Here they are, beholding the a Statue of Liberty.

Here they are, holding each other on Deno’s Wonder Wheel at Coney Island.

Here they are, talking to each other. (Can someone meme this please?)

Here they are, overlooking the city.

Here they are, outside The Village Voice.

Here they are, at Nathan’s on Coney Island.

Here they are, standing in front of a bum.

Here they are, supporting the public bike system.

Here they are, with the Duchess of Cambridge.

Here they are, holding hands in front of Stonewall.

And here they are, finishing up.

In related news, the pair are auctioning off three signed Coney Island ‘Best Friends’ t-shirts to support CityHarvest.org, “rescuing food for New York’s hungry”.

Bidding is currently between AU$659 (size small) – AU$1108 (size large). An expensive tee, but a worthy one.
