The folks behind the aural phenomenon that was Serial have taken a leaf out of the Netflix playbook, dropping all seven episodes of their new podcast S-Town for your binge-listening pleasure.

The first new podcast launched under the Serial Productions banner, S-Town is hosted by This American Life producer Brian Reed and executive produced by Serial co-creator Julie Snyder, with editorial assistance from Serial host Sarah Koenig and This American Life host Ira Glass. The podcast ostensibly involves Reed travelling to a small town in Alabama at the behest of an eccentric outsider named John to help solve a murder. But if early reports are to be believed, there’s quite a bit more to it than that.

S-Town is the first of three Serial Production podcasts that we know about so far. Serial season three, meanwhile, is expected to drop at some point in 2018.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to grab my iPhone and take a seven hour walk.

You can download all seven episodes of S-Town through the usual channels, or via the show’s website.
