Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera And Tim & Eric Saved The Internet

YouTube is being deleted right now. It will be replaced by JASH.

The live broadcast of Scott Aukerman’s Comedy Bang Bang podcast at SXSW over the weekend featured an all-star cast including Michael Cera, Sarah Silverman, Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim and Reggie Watts, and all five talked up the new YouTube channel they’ve started: Jash (‘Josh’ was taken, apparently.) It’s a platform collating the content from each comedian’s new YouTube channel, and the promo clip is amazing.

“There are just too many videos on our website,” the President of YouTube tells us. “That’s why we’re going to permanently delete all videos from YouTube, and start fresh with Jash. Jash will be making all the videos from now on.”

If you head to the website, you’ll find an intro video from each of the comics. Silverman has fun with a green screen, Cera runs backwards, sideways and in slow motion through a park, Reggie Watts beatboxes, raps and promises disappointment, but our favourite comes from Tim & Eric. It lasts for way too long.

Jash exists right here. The next video will launch on April 8.
