Proving that not all publicity is good publicity, Robin Thicke’s new album Paula has debuted at number 200 on the UK charts, having sold a princely 530 copies in its first week.

To put that in perspective, there are roughly 64 million people in the United Kingdom, around 26,000 of whom deigned to buy Thicke’s ode to being a huge perv Blurred Lines last year. 177,000 people in the United States did the same, only 20 to 25,000 of whom have decided to follow up with Paula this time round.

Who would’ve guessed that a creepy, pathetic attempt to get your ex-wife back through the mystical powers of song, combined with the world’s worst PR move, would fail to move albums? The more you learn.
