President Obama Is Going On ‘Between Two Ferns’ Tonight

President Obama’s campaign to appeal to the yoof continues, with news that he’ll be appearing on ‘Between Two Ferns’ — the internet’s favourite deadpan and awkward interview series hosted by Zach Galifianakis.

Obama is using the Funny Or Die platform to encourage young people to sign up to health insurance before the March 31 deadline. “We have to find ways to break through,” Obama’s chief communications strategist and senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer told The New York Times. “This is essentially an extension of the code we have been trying to crack for seven years now.”

Tactics so far include sending the President to late night comedy shows, doing Reddit AMAs and Google Hangouts, and that time the White House made a Mean Girls joke.
