PR Agency Uses Rolf Harris Conviction To Promote Pro Hart Auction

“After Rolf Harris – the last great Australian artist left”, reads the chirpy subject line of a rather tasteless press release set out this morning by a Sydney-based PR firm, in hopes of attracting attention to an auction of works by iconic Australian artist Pro Hart.

“Since the scandal of Rolph [sic] Harris there is only one other great Australian household name left – Pro Hart – and he’s having the last ever sale of his private art collection!”

173 of the late artist’s pieces will be under the hammer, with the presser kindly pointing out that there is also a ‘warts-and-all’ biography of the artist available for purchase.
