Pass It On: ‘Sad Dads At One Direction Concerts’ Has Finally Been Set To Music

Dads Dragged Along To One Direction Concerts — an anonymous imgur gallery uploaded to Reddit in August last year — has long been one of my favourite corners of the internet. It’s a humble gallery but an evocative one, filled with photos of the demoralised, defeated fathers that had to suffer through a 1D concert, all for the love of their tweens.

One year later, and some of the images — along with a few others, taken by Angelina Castillo — have finally been given the video treatment they deserve: a black and white slideshow with fade transitions, preceded by a Kurt Cobain quote and set to the tune of Gary Jules’ ‘Mad World’.
