The 2010 horror thriller Sharktopus has already gone down in history as this decade’s Citizen Kane, and it was only a matter of time before, like The Godfather, it was followed up by a sequel that matches and, if possible, surpasses the original.

Enter Sharktopus Vs. Pteracuda, the stunning tale of a shark blended with an octopus that gets in a fight with a pterodactyl blended with a barracuda.

Now the finest on-water creative endeavour since Waterworld can boast a heavy addition to its already stellar line-up, with long-time talk show host and unusual-looking man Conan O’Brien announcing he will make his big screen debut in the upcoming film.

The logistical challenges of hosting one Oscars night to give this film all the awards and another, inferior Oscars night for everyone else will be tricky, but I’m sure they can pull it off.
