OK Go have been releasing ridiculously over-the-top music videos to distract from their lyrical content since 2006’s ‘Here It Goes Again‘ — aka The One With The Treadmills. There was The One With The Marching Band, The One With The Rube Goldberg, The One With The Stop Motion, The One With All The Dogs, and The One With The Lazer Cut Pieces Of Toast — all released in the same year, for their 2010 album Of The Blue Color Of The Sky.

In 2012 came The Live Auto-Acoustic One and The One With The Tango Dancers, and now we have their latest one-shot clip: The One With The Colourful Optical Illusions.

It’s wrapped around a song called ‘The Writing’s On The Wall’, which really has nothing to do with the clip but is pretty okay to listen to.

And if you’re still catching up to the wonders of OK Go’s gimmicky videography, here’s an illustrated timeline.
