Marvel’s Trippy ‘Doctor Strange’ Trailer Is Finally Here, Looks Epic

The very first trailer for Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange movie has just been released, in all it’s mind-bending glory. The film — about a surgeon turned mystical magician played by the internet’s Benedict Cumberbatch — combines the gut-punching flash of traditional Marvel superhero movies, with some pretty exciting Inception-esque graphics.

In short, it looks pretty cool, hey?

Doctor Strange has been in the works for years now, Cumberbatch was cast back in 2014, but several rewrites meant that filming didn’t actually start until last year. The film also stars a bald Tilda Swinton as ‘The Ancient One’ who teaches the Doctor some good old fashioned sorcery, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as ‘Karl Mordo’ another student of magic and a fellow fan of capes. 

Doctor Strange will be released in Australia on October 27.
