Despite doing great work in the Australian media for more than three decades, providing continued fashion inspiration the likes of which our nation had never previously seen, and being our planet’s closest corporeal being to a real-life angel, Lee Lin Chin has never won a Logie. This year, in fact, marks her first nomination.

Though Chin’s background is in journalism, this newfound mainstream success has been a result of the comedic persona she’s developed with SBS2’s The Feed. Since signing on with the show as celebrity gossip columnist last year, Chin’s become much-loved for her deadpan wit, untouchable ego, murderous rage, and unashamed love of both beer and sexy men.

Now, after attending last year’s event for the first time with the hope of banging someone from Home and Away, Lee’s kicked off her predictably ruthless campaign for the Gold with the help of the channel that made her what she is. SBS2 have this week released short promos with the hashtag #LeeLinForLogiesWin and they are nothing short of spectacular.

The first clip features 16-time Logie Award winner and her “greatest shame” of a son, Rove MacManus:

The second, released just a few hours ago, features her “live-in lover” who may soon be banished to the “shame hammock”, Osher Gunsberg:

I’ve never even thought of casting a vote for the Logies and yet suddenly, I feel completely compelled.
