Jimmy Fallon Just Interviewed Hillary Clinton As Donald Trump And All Three Were Fantastic
The only conceivable reality in which Donald Trump is actually funny.
Like a ball of hair slowly growing in your shower pipes, Donald Trump just refuses to go away. His performance at the second Republican debate yesterday was as full of deranged ranting about vaccinations and bizarre facial expressions as you’d expect, and he remains stubbornly buoyant in the polls.
But if Trump’s longevity is concerning for the Republicans and/or America in general, it’s a blessing for the nation’s late-night variety shows. Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon does a damn fine Trump impersonation, even having Trump “interview” himself in all his obscenely orange glory last week.
Now, in the interest of balance, comes a Fallon/Trump interview with the one Presidential candidate expected by most to go the distance — Hillary Clinton. On last night’s episode, Fallon-as-Trump sat down for a phone “interview” with Hillary, featuring a golden phone that isn’t even plugged in, a cheeky dig at Barack Obama, and plenty of white wine.
