Jay-Z has paid tribute to late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington with a rare live performance of ‘Numb/Encore’ from his groundbreaking 2004 collaborative EP with the band, Collision Course.

Bennington died last month at the age of 41 in what was later confirmed as a suicide. Numerous artists have since paid their respects, including Pharrell, Coldplay, Rihanna, Timbaland, and Paramore’s Hayley Williams.

Jay-Z used the Grammy winning track to close out his headline set at V Festival in Stafford, England on Saturday night.

“Can you guys light it up tonight for Chester?” he asked the crowd. “Linkin Park, one time, tonight. Please make some noise so he can hear you all the way in heaven tonight!”

Video of Jay-Z’s performance was later shared on Twitter by Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda. Check it out below.
