Hold on to your internets, people. Full House, the beloved ’90s sitcom which gifted us with the Olsen twins and gave your dad an unwarranted sense of self-satisfaction for rocking jeans, runners and patterned vests, is coming back with a vengeance.

Netflix have commissioned a 13-episode season of a spin-off show called Fuller House — because hey, shut up, you think of a better name — and it will have its worldwide premiere sometime in 2016. The series will be made by the show’s original creator Jeff Franklin, and John Stamos (aka Uncle Jesse aka The Physical Embodiment Of The ’90s) will be one of the producers.

There are still talks going on to get Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Dave Coulier (Joey), Lori Loughlin (Rebecca) and the Olsen twins (the highly gifable little kid) on board, but Candace Cameron-Bure (DJ), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) are all confirmed.

Stamos — who will also make guest appearances — announced the news this afternoon on Jimmy Kimmel.

The show itself will revolve around a grown-up DJ Tanner who now works as a veterinarian and has two young sons. Each episode will focus on her, her younger sister, and her best friend as she readjusts to the difficulties of everyday life as a recently widowed pregnant mother.

WOAH. WOAH. I KNOW, RIGHT.

You may have forgotten, but that horrifically bleak premise is basically the same as the original show. Danny Tanner was also a recently widowed single father when Full House began in 1987. Now, because life is terrible, history has repeated itself and the same has happened to his daughter.

Yay, nostalgia?

Fuller House will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2016.
