For some reason he wouldn't play Fuck Marry Kill with her though.

This post contains spoilers for Making A Murderer.

Since Netflix’s latest docu-series Making A Murderer came out last month, former Wisconsin prosecutor Ken Kratz has been cast as a universally-reviled villain. It was his work for the state which led to a jury convicting Steven Avery and his 17-year-old nephew Brendan Dassey of the murder of Teresa Halbach. It was his decision to graphically recount details of an ongoing investigation (which may or may not have happened) that arguably tainted public perception of the accused. Then, just to top things off, the show ended with him resigning in disgrace after repeatedly sexually harassing clients (who were also survivors of domestic violence) over text.

Now, in the face of widespread condemnation which ranges from light mockery to burning hatred, he’s made the odd choice to sit down for an interview for Gothamist with comedian Jena Friedman, a former field producer for The Daily Show. Ostensibly this is an attempt for him to win back even the slightest bit of public approval or at the very least some vague sympathy for the abuse he’s receiving, but instead it ends with Friedman insinuating he loves Nazis and possibly murdered a woman. Enjoy.

Best lines:

“I’m not Ted Bundy. I’m not nearly as charming as he is.”

“Do you think your lack of likability cock-blocked your case?”

“If you were to sext me, what adjectives would you use?”

“I was a dick.”

…Is this him trying to not look shifty?
