Hillary Clinton’s going full-bore for the White House, and unless the glorious socialist revolution of Bernie Sanders or the equally glorious toupee-and-racism jamboree of Donald Trump overtakes her she’s pretty likely to go all the way. In an effort to reach out to Da Yoof, who are notoriously difficult to drag from their electronic games entertainment systems to the voting booth, Clinton’s sat down for a candid-ish one-on-one interview with Girls creator and star Lena Dunham.

The full interview’s going up on Tuesday, but in the meantime here’s a snippet where Dunham and Clinton discuss why feminism isn’t something to be feared and generally pal around like a cool aunty and a favourite niece out for weekend brunch G&Ts.

Considering Barack Obama’s eldest kid Malia is interning on the set of Girls, Dunham has a weirdly close connection with senior Democratic figures. Clinton/Dunham 2016 would be a pretty formidable ticket; even Kanye West would have to concede that.
