Fake documentarian Christopher Guest is turning his camera on the high-stakes world of professional mascots, in a brand new mockumentary for Netflix. Mascots will reunite the Best In Show director with a bunch of his regular collaborators including Bob Balaban, Jane Lynch, Fred Willard and Parker Posey, as well as Chris O’Dowd as a giant foam fist, the self-styled “bad boy of sports mascotery.”

The film is centered around an annual mascot competition, where participants duke it out for the prestigious “Golden Fluffy Awards”. This year’s hopefuls include a bagel, a plumber, a dancing armadillo and whatever the hell is happening here.

Mascots will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next week before hitting Netflix on October 13.
