A Man Was Forced To Call The Police After A Pig Followed Him Home
The police thought he was wasted.
Police in Ohio have responded to a call from a man who was followed home by a sinister pig in the extreme early hours of the morning. They thought the man was drunk — but the real twist is that the pig was a perfect baby angel who just wanted a friend. It was actually a very friendly pig.
In a now viral Facebook post, the North Ridgeville Police Department posted that a man “was being followed by a pig and didn’t know what to do”.
“Night shift responded to the obviously drunk guy walking home from the bar at 5:26 in the morning,” the police wrote. “He was at least drunk enough to call the police on himself while hallucinating.”
However they did not find a drunk man, just a very sober guy who was bamboozled by a pig shadowing his every step.
One can only imagine how grimly foreboding a lone pig in the dark can be, what premonitions of doom its twilight grunting must have aroused.
However, turns out like many of us in this fast-paced modern life, the pig just wanted a friend. Tag yourself — I’m the lonely night pig.
Police told NPR that “the pig was nudging the person and wanted to be petted.”
A department spokesperson later told CBS News that the pig’s name was Zoey, and has since been returned to its owner.
We can only hope Zoey has found love.
